Step 1: Preparing for the Process
Contacting us is the only step you’ll be doing, and you can do this either through a phone call or by filling out our online form. You only need to provide us a few basic details regarding your heavy equipment, as well as your personal contact information. We’ll call you back shortly to set a date, time, and place of your preference for your FREE pickup.
Step 2: We Collect Your Equipment
On the day of towing, be sure that you’ve already removed every personal possession you have from your construction equipment. Also, have your title ready, since it’s part of the requirement in our construction equipment donation program. In case you’ve lost or misplaced it, just let us know so we can assist you in obtaining a duplicate copy.
We’ll issue you a towing receipt before we take your heavy equipment. The receipt gives you the freedom to cancel your registration and insurance coverage.
Step 3: Get Your Tax-deductible Receipt
Once we have your donated equipment, we’ll send you your 100-percent tax-deductible sales receipt by mail or e-mail a few weeks later. You’ll need this receipt when you claim your tax deduction in the next tax season.

Construction equipment donations made to our charitable nonprofit organization are tax-deductible. The best practice is to consult with a tax professional on how to maximize your tax deduction since every situation is unique.
In general, the IRS limits the tax deduction to the gross proceeds from the sale of the equipment. Charitable contributions must be itemized on Schedule A of Form 1040 to qualify. If the total deduction claimed on the tax return exceeds $500, Form 8283 “Non-cash Charitable Contributions” must also be completed and attached.

Giving Center was created to help bridge the gap between those in the community who have the means and wish to help, with those who are in dire need of a helping hand and a little grace. We have a team of professional transporters and in house volunteers with both the technical and legal experience to assist you in the donation of any type vehicle.
